Reception Class Admissions to Stockbridge Village Primary School 2020

The primary admissions allocation day will take place on Thursday 16th April.  All applicants, whether online or postal, will receive a letter with confirmation of their allocated primary school.  All allocation letters are being sent out, by 1st class post, on Wednesday 15th April and therefore applicants should receive confirmation of their allocation on Thursday 16th April.  Online applicants will also receive an allocation confirmation email on the 16th April, as well as their letter.

Please note – the LA is urging parents not to call the Admissions Team until they have received their email or letter and/or have been to the website below to see if their query can be answered there.  A lot of information and FAQs, for example regarding the appeals process, can be found on the webpage, which has now been fully updated and expanded in light of the current situation. Please be mindful if you need to call the Admissions team that they are working with a reduced staff due to social distancing and therefore your call may not be answered straight away.

We look forward to welcoming our new and existing nursery children into Reception with the same care and attention that we always do, however, due to the current situation regarding school closures details of transition arrangements (meetings / visits etc) are not yet finalised. The Local Authority has instructed schools not to send out letters regarding places before 27th April  but rest assured that this information will be sent out to you as soon as possible. In the meantime if you are worried about this for your child please contact the school by email on and we will reply as soon as we can to allay your concerns. Equally if you wish to email to accept the place offered please use the school email detailed previously.
